Hello, my name is Tanya Lawrence. After many years of teaching music in both state & private schools, I now teach in my own small, private studio. I've always enjoyed the challenge of creating my own resources within the skill scope of a particular class and/or around a specific topic. Now, I'm enjoying offering some of these to help other teachers create their own exciting music lessons. I welcome constructive feedback on any of them.

This is one of a series of short videos, each explaining one specific aspect of musical notation/theory.
Through watching this presentation, your students should gain a thorough understanding of what the treble and bass clefs are, their function in written music and how to draw them for themselves.
This resource is suitable for all students ( and possibly non music specialist elementary teachers) wishing to strengthen their grasp of the basic elements of written notation.
Thank you for looking at my resource. If there is any other specific element of musical notation you would like a video on, please let me know. You are also welcome to give any constructive feedback on this video.
