Hello, my name is Tanya Lawrence. After many years of teaching music in both state & private schools, I now teach in my own small, private studio. I've always enjoyed the challenge of creating my own resources within the skill scope of a particular class and/or around a specific topic. Now, I'm enjoying offering some of these to help other teachers create their own exciting music lessons. I welcome constructive feedback on any of them.

This is one of a series of micro-lessons. Each one covers a specific point of notation or music theory.
By watching this video, your pupils should gain a clear understanding of what treble and bass clefs are, how to draw them and what they mean in practice.
Suitable for all students (and primary non-music specialist teachers) wishing to strengthen their grasp of the very basics of notation and music theory.
Especially suitable for students working towards GCSE music.
Thanks for watching my material. If there's any other specific music related point you'd like a video on, please let me know.
