Technology-enhanced writing practice for Legal English
Based on the new vocabulary introduced in a warm-up vocabulary practice and a reading task related to ridiculous criminal acts, the students will describe how the listed offences could be categorized into violent and non-violent criminal acts and how they would be punished in the adversarial judicial system. Finally, they shall summarize their thoughts in a two-paragraph essay presenting thus a clear and straightforward understanding of how crimes are categorized and measured.
