This is a resource where students have to explain the motion of a falling marble using force diagrams and key words as it reaches terminal velocity in the air and then again when it hits a large tank of oil (analagous to opening a parachute). Worked solutions are included.

Students also have to plot and annotate a speed-time graph of the journey.
