The Curley's Wife Challenge: Vocabulary

I challenged my bottom 9s with this last lesson and it went down really well. The challenge is all about increasing / improving their vocabulary while summarising what they've learnt about Curley&'s Wife in chap. 2.\n\nThey&';ve been struggling with how to talk about CW without using words which would normally get them in a detention! They really engaged in this challenge, so much so that when we ran out of thesuruses (sp?) they asked to use an online thesaurus on their phones - all 4 on their mobiles did not stray from the onlline thesaurus.\n\nGreat fun for them & great fun for me é the TA!
