Foundation: A Novel Approach to Improving Financial Literacy was written for those individuals who have yet to learn personal finance, were never taught it, or just had difficulty staying awake in class.
It’s the basics. Nothing terribly complicated and everything surprisingly easy to digest. Early lessons welcome the reader by offering background on basic economic content, beginning with those precious things called natural resources on which everything depends on, in every economy.
Each lesson relies on its predecessors to lay the necessary groundwork for its comprehension. Learning about stock investing before learning how businesses are formed or operate seems backward, so we’ve done our best to avoid these kind of pitfalls by employing a linear strategy, as often as possible, for when content is introduced.
You’ll also quickly learn we use big, attractive images to stimulate certain activators in the brain that make people smile, or curious. And we include definitions following every word that could warrant (need) a dictionary. We didn’t want to take any chances that anyone might be put off by something they couldn’t understand.
