A fun and interactive careers lesson where students role play a desert island survival scenario to understand the importance of transferable skills whilst developing some of their own.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the lesson, students will:

  • Understand the importance of transferable skills
  • Develop presenting & evaluation skills
  • Explore a creative writing task and write for interest

The activity is designed to last 45-60 minutes and the content is written primarily for students in Key Stage 3.

The resources are all downloadable and editable in Powerpoint format so you can tailor the content to the specific needs of your pupils.
