This booklet has been designed to help developing readers engage with and extend their understanding of Roald Dahl's - Enormous Crocodile. The booklet is arranged in three sections; beginning, middle, end. Each section encourages the reader to; read the text, find answer's to set questions and respond by drawing a series of related pictures. For teachers that do not want to follow the story so closely or for SEN children there is a set of adapted worksheets that encourages children to engage and respond to the story through art and drawing. It is a useful homework resource. All illustrations are by 'Open Clipart'. [Correction made to headings of sections - beginning/ middle/ end]

I am going to use parts of this resource to support Year 3 guided reading alongside our study of the book. The worksheets will be useful for SEN support during lessons. This is a good time saver although I will break it down into individual activities to help differentiate.<br /> NB - In the booklet, the sections are headed and the final section is called 'middle' instead of 'end' so this is worth altering before you print.
