A lesson that looks at the blame culture and how we always look for excuses. There is a little story that asks the pupils to think about how you could pass the blame for something you have done wrong, and a fun 'hands-up' activity that asks pupils to own up to using certain well known excuses. Pupils then get the analyse primary sources from SS officers who have used excuses for their part n the Holocaust. Pupils must try to identify what excuses they have used.
