Phonics - The long and short vowel Phoneme Families complete set

Meet all 20 short and long vowel families that children are taught in Reception and Key Stage One. Each family wears clothes which are coloured to support grapheme phoneme correspondence. The long vowel 'ee' family all wear green. All the CEW for year 1 and year 2 are included as well as spelling rules which apply from English appendix 1. Each powerpoint is designed to be used across year groups depending on your phonics teaching. They each contain at least a weeks worth of phonics teaching. Each character tells you about its grapheme and uses sounds spots to support reading and spelling. Once children are familiar with the family they can explore best bet rules and then apply their learning by using the dictated sentences also within the powerpoint. Two copies are included, one which uses my preferred font of Letterjoin and one with comic sans. Also included is planning, starters and word mats.
