This product includes 16 color and 14 black and white puppet templates of the characters from the Nursery Rhyme The Old Woman who lived in a shoe. The characters included are;
Old Woman (3 different versions - 3 in color and 3 B/W).
Girls (3 different versions – 3 in color and 3 B/W).
Boys (3 different versions – 3 in color and 3 B/W).
Shoe House (2 different versions – 4 in color and 2 B/W).
Boiling Pot (1 color and 1 B/W).
Bread (1 color and 1 B/W).
Broth (1 color and 1 B/W).

To construct the stick puppets in color, print out the color puppet templates onto white cardstock. Cut out each puppet template around the dotted outline and laminate for durability. Stick the puppet template to a popsicle or paddle pop stick using tape or glue. Another suggested use for this resource is for students to color in the black and white puppet template, cut out along the dotted outline and stick to a popsicle/ paddle pop stick using glue or sticky tape. Once the puppets have been constructed, students can use the stick puppets to retell, or dramatise the nursery rhyme The Old Woman who lived in a shoe.
