Starter includes a simple 'countdown' game using four operations.\nThe main begins discussing how you would move a point moving from A to B. Class discussion leads towards a universal way to describe the translation (vectors). Eventually axis added. \nPlenary discusses key words and poses a multiple choice question on translations. Answers can be offered on mini-whiteboards. I received an Outstanding for this lesson by the Head. Please leave feedback. \nMisconceptions and functional use included in lesson plan. Depending on ability this should take 1 to 2 lessons.
