U.S. Imperialism Perspectives Activity – Common Core Aligned

Your students will be engaged in this fun and interactive activity. Students will work with a partner to analyze placards on eight regions that the U.S. intervened in during the turn of the century: China, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, the Philippines, Hawaii and Panama. They first read background information about U.S. imperialism in that territory and then they analyze quotes related to different perspectives of imperialism.
