Two lessons that look at immigration in the USA, the first lesson gets students to investigate the causes of immigration, what it looked like, who immigrated to the US and how the government responded to it. The second lesson looks at the experiences of the immigrants in America. Both lessons have a GCSE exam question, one essay styled and the other interpretation. Both come with sentence starters as well as challenge tasks to stretch the most able.
