Viking Britain crossword and word search

I designed these puzzle worksheets to use in school sessions in connection with my class reader, Saving the Unicorn’s Horn used to teach KS2 children about life in Viking Age Britain.

Saving the Unicorn’s Horn is the second book in The Scar Gatherer series, a sequence of seven time travel adventures spanning British history from Roman times up to WW2. The series website has a wealth of additional material on each period, written for children. The Viking pages include a Viking timeline, pages about famous Vikings, Viking recipes, and a page on Viking runes.
