A tour of Quebec City using Google Streetview - pupils have to read the directions in French and make their way around Quebec, looking for answers to questions as they go. Everything is fully explained on the sheet. I did this with my low ability Y8s (after several lessons on directions) and they did really well with it, although they didn't manage to finish it all in the 30 mins we had. My pupils absolutely loved seeing the different parts of the town, especially as I used to live in Quebec (the starting point is my old flat!).

An innovative and motivating way to use French directions - revision, assessment and cultural input. Merci!

This is a wonderful resource! It took a whole 50 minute lesson with my year 10 class but they thoroughly enjoyed it, and it really helped with their greater knowledge of Québec City!
