This is a comparison grid for poetry which asks students to note down key points relating to poems that they are studying for their exams. This can easily be adapted for whatever collection of poetry you are studying.
A grid to guide pupils to focus on the correct aspects of the ballads studied, whilst also providing a clear view of comparisons one explored. Ballads studied include ‘The Sad Story of Lefty and Ned’ by Jade Marie Gabbusch, ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes and ‘The Ballad of Charlotte Dymond’ by Charles Causley.
