Schools in Wales are required from September 2014 to track children against the Literacy and Numeracy statements in the framework. This tracker allows primary schools to do this. Use a copy of the spreadsheet for each class/ cohort and it will stay with them all the way through their primary school career. Choose the appropriate year group from the tabs at the bottom and as the children have the opportunity to apply skills, you can enter 1 (children have not successfully applied the skill), 2 (children have had some success in applying the skill) or 3 (children have acquired the skill successfully).
