Inspired by the RSC's Shakespeare Live: 400th Anniversary Performance (2016) and Sir Ian Mckellen's performance of Shakespeare's Sir Thomas More Migrant Speech (free recording included). Including full exploration of the speech and Shakespeare's views/context with a focus on migration. The continued relevance of this debate throughout history and into the modern day is explored through the work of street artist Banksy as well as several thought provoking modern news clips all of which are included within the PowerPoints to generate productive classroom debate and positive messages and attitudes to both Shakespeare and Migration/Equality.

A very creative and original idea which addresses current issues brilliantly and highlights the relevance of Shakespeare in the modern day, just wonderful!
