Here are a set of revision sheets that can be used for WJEC/EDUQAS AS Level Religious Studies Philosophy of Religion Component.

The sheets are best printed in A3 in either colour or black and white.

Students fill them in themselves at the end of each topic or as final revision before the exam. These have proved popular with my students as a way of having a summary of the main points/concepts for each part of the specification as a reference point. These sheets have also been used by my students to complement other revision sources and strategies.

The sheets don’t cover every eventuality (in particular a lot of the A02 material) but provide a good source to refer back to throughout the course as prompts or as revision material for assessments or the final exam.

These can provide a good opportunity for retrieval practice which helps support students’ short-term and long-term memory.

Templates can easily be adapted to suit your individual needs and could perhaps be adapted for other exam boards too.

These may also be useful to support students with blended learning or full online learning as well as part of normal classroom practice, homework or personal private study. Could also be useful for staff cover or absence.
