World of work - trabajo

These resources will work alongside mira or your own scheme of work. They are fun, engaging and easily adaptable. Lessons and activities are covered in depth through the presentation, with activities easily printable from powerpoint presentation, as well as those attached.

These lessons look at all aspects of the world of work and the final outcome will be that students can recognise a variety of different jobs, and know the feminine/masculine versions of these jobs, can use jobs in 1st and 3rd person, discuss Saturday jobs, look at work experience and understand the difference between preterite and imperfect tense, and discuss future jobs and plans using near future tense and 'si clauses'. Finally they can undertake a spoken interview describing themselves, whilst selling themselves for your fictional job.

As mentioned all activities are easily printable for you to use in class.There are a variety of activities, games, tasks and slides you can use straight away or change to suit your lessons or teaching styles.
(Originally designed for Year 9/first year of KS4 but can be used with other year groups).
