World Water Day Assembly

Valuing Water

March 22nd 2021

This assembly is suitable for students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Water is one of the most valuable resources on Earth. It covers over two thirds of the Earth’s surface, makes up around 70% of the human body and is essential for life.

Water is complex because it’s linked to everything in the world. Without water, we wouldn’t exist. This planet needs water to survive.

Water means different things to different people. The World Water Day 2021 conversation is about what water means to you. How is water important to your home and family life, your livelihood, your cultural practices, your wellbeing, your local environment?

This age-appropriate, thought-provoking assembly, reminds us about the global significance of water, how it impacts everyone and everything and what we can all do to safeguard it effectively for today and tomorrow.

This can be used as a stand-alone assembly or as an introduction to World Water Day activities.

Comprising of a 34-slide power-point presentation, detailed script, music accompaniment and a relevant prayer, this pack will save you hours of preparation time; simply download and go.
