Y5 Addition and Subtraction - 4 days planning, slides and resources for Same Day Intervention maths

This resource contains planning, slides and all resources (except for Monday and Wednesday challenges as they were missing digits column addition/subtraction sheets from Twinkl) for four days of Same-Day Intervention maths. The lessons focus on developing the childrens’ fluency skills in adding and subtracting whole numbers up to 6-digits and decimal numbers of varying place value. Each lesson has a starter, input and then a diagnostic task, which should be marked before moving children onto a bronze, silver, gold or challenge activity (depending on how well they did during the diagnostic). If some children do not access the diagnostic activity, they will move onto bronze, where they will then have a focused intervention with an adult before completing the task independently (hence Same-Day Intervention). I have also attached the answers to help with marking. Sometimes, I get my class to peer or self mark their work and this works well when all of the answers are provided.
