To learn about the festival of Diwali

Learning Objectives (LOs)

The children will (know/be able to):

  1. Understand what Diwali is, who celebrates it and why they celebrate it.

  2. Understand the history behind Diwali, the story of Rama and Sita.

  3. Children can discuss with each other the importance of the religious festival to extend social and cultural development.
