I created this power-point for a year 3 Art lesson on architecture. I began by introducing the artist and architect Hundertwasser. The first slide allows for a general discussion of his work. The power-point then moves on to a variety of photographs of different buildings around the world- the children loved looking at these. The power-point then shows buildings designed by Hundertwasser (slide 13-16) the children can discuss how these differ from the other buildings, the colours, shapes etc. The last slide includes some examples of drawings/paintings that can be created in the style of Hundertwasser. I chose oil pastels, gave a quick demonstration and let the children use their imagination!
