This interview text for year 5, linking to the topic Earth and space, is with a real-life Martian (sort of!). NASA plans to send humans to Mars for the first time in the 2030s and many scientists think that within 50 years, people will be living there. But what would it be like? In an experiment to find out, Dr Sheyna Gifford and five others spent a year living in a simulated Mars habitat designed to mimic the conditions of living on the red planet.
