Year 6 SATs revision - Grammar & Maths morning activities

This is a 20 slide power-point presentation which I am using during the build up to this year’s SATs tests.

I put this powerpoint on the screen as soon as my class walk in.

Each slide has between 3 and 9 totally unrelated maths and grammar style questions which test their understanding on lots of different areas. I have picked more challenging areas of both Grammar [past progressive, present perfect, subjunctive mood etc…] and Maths [area of a triangle, area of a parallelogram, worded problems etc…] to ensure my children are confident when facing these problems.

I have found it really helps my class, as they have developed their approach to various questions whilst building their confidence up.

This resource is perfect for the last couple of weeks before SATs!
