Year 7 Scheme of Work for Textiles.
List of the lesson objectives are below:

 To understand what this project is going to consists of.
 To identify and understand the practical uses of common workshop equipment and components used in making textile products.
 To demonstrate joining and finishing techniques, such as seams and hand stitching.
 To understand how fabrics should be handled.
 To understand and demonstrate different uses of the decorative stitching.
 To understand the health and safety within the working environment.
 To demonstrate creative design skills and appropriate annotations.
 To be able to investigate and research appropriately and effectively.
 To develop initial design ideas to hone in on a specific design and develop that further.
 To plan for the creation of their final design.
 To be able to manufacture their final design or product to a good standard.
 To be able to test and evaluate their final design or product.
 To be able to peer assess in a mature manner.
 To be able to self-assess in a reflective manner.
