Yr 5 and 6 New Curriculum English Main and Subordinate Clauses (PowerPoint and Worksheets)

A PowerPoint (I have it split into two lessons) that teaches the concept of main and subordinate clauses.

Based on the New Curriculum. Can be used for SATs grammar revision.

Three worksheets included to test the students understanding of the concept.

Worksheet 1 (Students will identify the main clauses in the 10 sentences by circling them)
Worksheet 2 (Students will will given a subordinate clause and asked to write a corresponding main clause)>
Worksheet 3 (Students will have 10 sentences, they will identify whether the underlined section is a main or subordinate clause).
