This cross curricular theme of 36 pages on Horses and War horses was designed for Keystage 3 pupils in a PRU in Essex. I used it when an HMI inspector observed the unit over a period of time and she commended it highly because of the variety of literacy opportunities and the way that the boys and girls in the unit related to the theme and were fully engaged in the work.
