What do resources authors say about being part of the TES community?
We're into part three of four blog posts on the videos we took of authors at our TES meet-ups. This clip focuses on why our authors feel involved in the TES community, and all you need to do is press play above to see what all the fuss is about!
If you missed our headlines from the TES Author events we ran in October, check out this post for an overview of the meet-ups and a three-minute highlights video.
Authors' best bits about the TES community
- Peer review - Get feedback on your resources and ideas from like-minded authors who work in different educational settings with a variety of subject specialisms. You may be surprised by the encouragement you get!
- Share and care - It's a really friendly and supportive community. There's even a special Facebook group set up by TES Authors for TES Authors. Discuss your passions, likes and gripes!
- Not a one-trick pony - TES isn't just about resources. Our authors also mentioned how they valued the insights from the magazine and online articles, as well as the usefulness of the forums for keeping up to date with the latest in the world of education.
