TES Authors' advice, tips and views on camera
Headlines from our TES Author events in October 2015
During October half term, we hopped around the country to meet some of our talented TES Authors. Over the course of four nights we covered London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol at a variety of small-scale meet-ups and we were delighted to be able to chat with authors about their school lives, careers, their process for creating resources and how they've found the whole experience of sharing and selling resources on TES.
Lights, camera, action!
We had the amazing opportunity in London and Manchester to capture some of our authors talking to camera - we were taken aback by how passionate everyone was, and we're over the moon that we can share a glimpse of that with the rest of the TES community.
Who we met
We met a total of 28 authors, which included practising teachers across primary, secondary and vocational education. Some were HODs, private tutors, retirees and we also met several former teachers who have moved to become full-time resource producers.
We'll be posting a mini-series of blog posts with videos that delve into more detail about why authors like being part of the TES community, why they publish resources on TES, top tips for new authors, and how resources can have an impact in classrooms around the world. Stay tuned!
