A Complete guide for conducting IGCSE ICT 0417 Practical Tests

A Complete guide for conducting IGCSE ICT 0417 Practical Tests

Hi ICT teachers, I have been teaching ICT for quite a number of years. I have noticed that conducting ICT practical tests or mock examinations can sometimes get really stressful. This is merely because these practical tests involve so many stakeholders, i.e. the school's IT department, CIE Coordinator / Exam Officer, Facilities department and the school's Senior Leadership Team.Practical tests need to be conducted with zero errors. Students should be able to get complete access to software, hardware and printing facilities during the exam. Sometimes, it gets difficult to explain these requirements to all those involved in the practical tests. To come up with a complete solution, I have created a complete guide for conducting ICT practical tests. These mainly include:Preparation for the IGCSE ICT Practical tests 0417/02/03[1] INSTRUCTIONS FOR CENTRE'S EXAM SUPERVISOR[2] INSTRUCTIONS FOR CENTRE'S EXAM OFFICER[3] INSTRUCTIONS FOR CENTRE’S IT DEPARTMENT[4] INSTRUCTIONS FOR INVIGILATORS / STUDENTSI have highlighted important points in bold and have explained them in complete detail in eight, A4 sized pages. I have cited my sources of information for this guide. I am sure you will find this document very useful for conducting ICT practical tests in your school. I am charging a very nominal price for all the hard-work and research input in this document. You can edit or print this guide and distribute it to relevant departments, so that everyone involved knows exactly what they are supposed to do prior, during and after the practical tests. All the best!

IGCSE ICT 0417 Exam Papers 1-3 & Quizzes for Term 1-4 / Semester 1-2

IGCSE ICT 0417 Exam Papers 1-3 & Quizzes for Term 1-4 / Semester 1-2

Hi all, I have been teaching ICT for quite a number of years and have created my own set of Exam papers for the entire course of study for 2 years. These sets come with mark schemes and solutions for both practical and theoretical tests. All papers are updated with 2016 syllabus and have been formatted just like actual exam papers. I have prepared 3-4 sets of papers for theoretical Paper 1, and 1 set each for practical Paper 2 & 3.All papers are creating using MS Word and exemplar exam questions are taken from past year exam papers. This ensures consistency of questions and also helps students to understand what an actual examination paper might look like.I am sure you would find these useful, especially if you are a new ICT teacher. Moreover, you can edit / modify all files and even add more challenging questions for your students.I have done the most tedious task of compiling these exam papers and am charging a very reasonable price for my work. I am sure you would not be stressed about setting exam papers anymore, and would be able to enjoy some family time or simply spend time with close friends.
