My Shopping Basket

My Shopping Basket

This PowerPoint teaches pupils the French translation of items typically found in a shopping basket. The aim of the learning is to sound the names of food and place these into a sentence, speaking in French.

Articulate game (Tabou): 16 French food cards

Articulate game (Tabou): 16 French food cards

I designed these 16 cards (to cut out and possibly laminate) after one of my pupils told me about the game 'Articulate' (Tabou en francais): players take it in turns to make the other players guess a French word without using 2 'banned' keywords. It is a fun activity that gives pupils the opportunity to revise basic vocabulary by explaining what they mean, therefore using conversational skills, grammar as well vocab. I will soon upload more cards linked to other topics (family, school, animals, etc.)
