Musical Arabic for Learning Arabic at Any Age- 21 Packet BUNDLE of Song Worksheets and MP3s

Musical Arabic for Learning Arabic at Any Age- 21 Packet BUNDLE of Song Worksheets and MP3s

Musical Arabic is an innovative collection of downloadable worksheets / MP3 combination that pleasantly teaches and reinforces Modern Standard Arabic in a fun and non-threatening way. The whole collection contains the scripts of the 21 lively chants, rhythms and songs (alphabet, birthday, family, countries, days, everyday expressions, possessives, simple verb conjugations, etc.) in both Arabic script and phonetic (Romanized or transliterations) scripts for easier understanding by all students. There are many exercises that follow the lessons of the songs and also a picture glossary so that the learner may understand the songs without cumbersome translations. Musical Arabic is used successfully in many elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges and institutions across the world. Musical Arabic can be used either as a supplement or as a basis around which the rest of the curriculum is based. It is a good addition to Alif Baa or Al-Kitaab or other excellent series. I wrote and recorded “Musical Arabic” so that I, a teacher and language learner, could learn Arabic a way that would work well for me and others like me. As Oraib Mango, Arabic Instructor at ASU (Arizona) says, “ I like to use music in my classes because it offers students other ways to learn. I usually use Musical Arabic to supplement the material that we study in the textbook. For example, when we go over numbers, we listen to the song about numbers. Many students find that it helps them a lot to retain the vocabulary words and expressions when they are accompanied by music. I find useful the songs about: numbers, days of the week, colors, interrogatives, countries, fruit, weather, conversation, pronouns and others.” * Only $40 - If purchased separately, this bundle would cost $63!To listen to short song samples from this collection, copy and paste the URL below:https://www.tes.com/us/teacher-lessons/musical-arabic-chants-rhythms-and-rhymes-for-learning-arabic-at-any-age-short-sound-samples-11174938

At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone!* Please note - these resources provide visual prompts, not specific language instruction. The Arabic Bingo pack: This is a simple starter game for students. There are 114 different pictures to choose from. Select a single picture and project the image on the wall or share it with the class as a hand-out.Let's Talk in Arabic!: This set of cards looks at 57 different settings. The teacher describes something in the top card. The students then use this to model a sentence using the bottom set of pictures. There are lots of things to see and describe in every picture. When the students have completed this task, they can repeat it by working in pairs to discuss each picture.Let's Write in Arabic pack: There are lots of ways of using this teaching pack.
