Mes vacances et ma passion-Les Alpes

Mes vacances et ma passion-Les Alpes

I tried to select a nice topic and theme to teach and revise various skills and grammatical aspects . It links to Expo3 ( la Normandie ) rouge with the discovery of an area but I jaust added more on this so students get to compare areas and see how varied France is. I will add more through a different power point and add worksheets , this is taking ages .... hope it helps. I used the interactive quiz with the gap fill as a little starter and introduction about the Alps before showing the Power Point.

FRENCH VOCABULARY (4) - GAMES & ACTIVITIES - 99 WORDS & PHRASES

FRENCH VOCABULARY (4) - GAMES & ACTIVITIES - 99 WORDS & PHRASES

99 ESSENTIAL WORDS AND PHRASES FOR BEGINNING FRENCH LEARNERS - PERFECT FOR PRACTISING AND REVISING FRENCH VOCABULARY!This set of games and activities really do help students to develop and embed their beginning FRENCH vocabulary in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way. They’re ideal for independent learning, and perfect for pair and small-group work. Students can quiz/test themselves and each other on a regular basis - they're a very popular alternative to more traditional vocabulary 'drilling tasks', and really do help to create a lively language learning environment. This set works well as a standalone resource, and is also a great complement to other sets in the series. ENSEMBLE 4 features 99 BEGINNING WORDS AND PHRASES that students are likely to meet in the INTRODUCTORY stages of their FRENCH learning:- Les pays- Les nombres 61-80- Quelle heure est-il ? (o'clock)- Les adjectifs (1)- La nourriture et les boissons- Bavardons un peu !I've described the resource as suitable for ages 7-14, but it does depend on the age at which your students begin FRENCH - the games and activities work well with any appropriate learning group, depending on their starting point. There are two non-editable files in a zipped format:FILE 1: FRENCH and ENGLISH game cards, with all the words and phrases to use in a variety of games and activities - I've suggested a range of games and activities that have worked well for me. This file also includes the game card template, which encourages your students to apply their developing knowledge of FRENCH practically and creatively.FILE 2 - this is an 18-page REFERENCE, RECALL & WRITE booklet. All the words and phrases are listed FRENCH-ENGLISH in language categories. The booklet includes a NOTES AND NEXT STEPS template for students to reflect on and note their progress, and to identify targets for improvement. There are 3 differentiated RECALL & WRITE activities to help your students really practise and review the vocabulary:CHILLOUT CHALLENGE: students write from memory all the words and phrases in ENGLISH from a FRENCH prompt - all the words/phrases are in their language categoryCHAMPION CHALLENGE: students write from memory all the words and phrases in FRENCH from an ENGLISH prompt - again, all the words and phrases are in their language categorySUPERCHARGED CHALLENGE: all the words and phrases appear in random order, and switch from FRENCH to ENGLISH at each question - this really does put students' memories to the test! Please read the Terms of Use carefully - this resource is copyright, and for single-classroom use only. MERCI BEAUCOUP ET BON DIVERTISSEMENT !
