Studio AQA GCSE 2017: Des vacances de rêve_Module 5_Unit 1

Studio AQA GCSE 2017: Des vacances de rêve_Module 5_Unit 1

This handout (1xA4) has been designed for my second year GCSE students (Year 11) starting in Sept 2017. I have used these sheets in year 10 and they have been very helpful for students. As we are going through the book (Studio AQA), I am creating these documents for them to refer to throughout the year (year 10-year 11). Please note that if there is a mention of 'Check green grammar lesson', it is because I give them separate grammar sheets on a green paper. This text box is easy to delete if you don't want it. Make sure you click on the 'enable editing' box at the top of the document after downloading it.So far, the year 10 students have had end of Module tests and these have become very handy for their revision. I hope they can also help someone out there!

Studio Module 5 3,2,1 partez. Unit of work collaborative group tasks and itinerary

Studio Module 5 3,2,1 partez. Unit of work collaborative group tasks and itinerary

This unit of work is based on Studio 1 Module 5 and will take approx 3-4 weeks to complete depending how many lessons you have timetabled. The initial powerpoint Tour du Monde introduces key vocabulary for describing countries and their capital cities. The 321Partez powerpoint introduces key language features required in Module 5 such as reflexive verbs, the Passé Composé, regular group verbs in past present and simple figure tenses, and adjectives to describe destinations and holidays. Following the 'priming' phase, the second half of the unit is a collaborative group challenge. Each group selects a francophone country then work together completing a series of tasks resulting in their final 'product', a holiday itinerary to their chosen destination, including a packing list and suggested cultural activities. Add or edit the activities to suit your class and abilities. Great resource for differentiated learning.

Expo 2 Rouge Module 4 Resources, Homeworks and Writing/Speaking Assessment

Expo 2 Rouge Module 4 Resources, Homeworks and Writing/Speaking Assessment

Using various resources I've gathered over the last couple of years, I've produced a series of 12 lessons on Module 4 of Expo 2 Rouge. This includes a weekly homework, all resources to be used with the book and assessment preparation. I've even included elements vital for building up to the new GCSE, such as picture description and role-play. It is all you'll need to deliver a successful series of lessons on this module. My students always find this a really fun and engaging module.Lesson 1+2: E2R 4.1Lesson 3+4: E2R 4.2Lesson 5+6: E2R 4.3Lesson 7+8: E2R 4.4Lesson 9+10: E2R 4.5 + RevisionLesson 11: Assessment (Prep can be used as a Speaking or Writing). I would advise accompanying this with either the Listening or Reading from the Expo 2 Rouge Assessment File. For homeworks, direct students to www.quizlet.com where they can search for each unit of vocab with great ease. If you set up a Teacher account and create classes, you can monitor who has done their revision and who has not. Otherwise, use the vocab tests included in each PowerPoint to monitor homework.
