Les euros (Euros in French) 3 lessons! Y5 4th Grade

This topic is about the Euros. Children will recognise the coins and notes, count the money, say a price and learn how to write a French cheque. (Numbers 0 up to 100 should have been done before this topic.) These lessons are suited for Y5 (4th Grade) and beyond. This topic will last 3 weeks (1 hour lesson per week). There are lots of activities and games. The 5 skills (listening, understanding, speaking, writing and reading) are all present. With cute and happy cartoons, the topics are adapted for children and motivate them to learn French while having fun! It is made for teachers who speak French but also those who don't! The lessons are all very easy to follow. The lesson plan and audio sounds of the vocabulary are there to help you learn and pronounce the words beforehand! It includes:- 4 Powerpoint presentations- 1 lesson plan- 1 lesson sheet ( with all the key vocabulary: for the children to stick in their books)- 1 HA worksheet (Assessment)- 1 LA worksheet (Assessment)- 1 word search- 1 Answer sheet for an activity- Audio clips of vocabulary (in the powerpoints to practice beforehand)- Information documents (About, Advice and tips, Copyright)

7 IGCSE FRENCH SAMPLE ESSAYS WITH TIPS AND TRANSLATION

7 IGCSE FRENCH SAMPLE ESSAYS WITH TIPS AND TRANSLATION

This resource is a series of seven IGCSE French sample essays based on the most common topics:Holidays, School, Hobbies, My Area, Family, Chores and Visits. It follows the IGCSE format for the essay writing: 4 bullet points, around 150 words, 3 tensesEach essay includes a range of A star structures and has the translation in English below. Some essays have also got some useful tips on the side about the structures. My students found this resource very useful to expand their complex structures and build a range of set phrases. This resource is suitable both for Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE students. Enjoy!

FRENCH - Clothing and Shopping Card Game (100 cards)

FRENCH - Clothing and Shopping Card Game (100 cards)

This is a card game to use in activities about clothes and shopping for clothes during French lessons. The cards represent different kinds of clothes with colour and style variations (such as long and short sleeve t-shirts and shirts…). There are also a few cards with questions you may use for a shopping activity (‘Quelle taille ?’, ‘Quelle pointure ?’, ‘C’est combien ?’), as well as cards with the names of the clothes, so that the students can match them with the drawings (useful to make them learn the vocabulary). There are 100 cards in total. The files are ready to print, recto verso, and there are registration marks and bleed marks to help you or your reprographics department print them.I would recommend printing them in A3, and to laminate them in individual pouches (they are the size of a business card). If you need any help with the files, feel free to drop a message.

Dans ma ville il y a, il n'y a pas... magasin, restaurant, piscine,... 67 slides! With lesson plan!

Dans ma ville il y a, il n'y a pas... magasin, restaurant, piscine,... 67 slides! With lesson plan!

This is a fantastic resource which took me forever to put together. It includes a starter with extension and challenge, three quizzes about places in town. Students learn how to use il y a, il n'y a pas. There is a differentiated speaking task. Students then move on to the opinions with intensifiers. There is a listening task which is also differentiated with a challenge and an extension. There is a superb plenary! You will love this lesson! All ready to go!
