GERMAN VERBS SETS 1, 2 & 3 - 297 HIGH-FREQUENCY VERBS - GAMES & ACTIVITIES

PERFECT FOR PRACTISING AND REVISING 297 HIGH-FREQUENCY GERMAN VERBS - NEWLY-REVISED & UPDATED RESOURCE COMING SOON!This combined pack of GERMAN VERBS GAMES AND ACTIVITIES SETS 1, 2 AND 3 features 297 high-frequency GERMAN verbs, and offers an interactive and communicative alternative to 'traditional' vocabulary and grammar drilling activities. The games and activities really do help to create a lively and multi-skill language learning environment. The alphabetical GERMAN-English reference lists of all 297 verbs work well as a learning support resource, and also as a whole-group reading out loud pronunciation and warm-up practice. The cards are versatile, and can be used for a number of language learning games; I’ve described several games you can play and ways you can use them in the classroom. They're great for a ready-made quick vocab quiz too! The game card template lets your students put their knowledge of GERMAN verbs to the test as they create quiz cards for each other. There are three differentiated RECALL AND WRITE ACTIVITIES in each booklet:CHILLOUT CHALLENGE 1:Students recall and write all the verbs in English from a GERMAN prompt - the GERMAN verbs are in alphabetical orderCHILLOUT CHALLENGE 2:Students recall and write all the verbs in English from a GERMAN prompt, with the verbs appearing in random, rather than alphabetical orderCHAMPION CHALLENGE:Students recall and write all the verbs in GERMAN from an English prompt - this really does put their knowledge to the test - and is great for practising spelling in GERMAN tooI've classed the pack as suitable for ages 14-18, because it really does depend on when your students began GERMAN, the level they are currently working at, and the level they are aspiring to. The games and activities are particularly useful as students prepare for examinations, and for the transition period between learning stages. The cards take a bit of prep – printing, laminating and cutting out. Laminating is certainly worth the effort and expense - you will be able to re-use the cards for years to come. The REFERENCE, RECALL AND WRITE booklet has 16 pages, and is best photocopied double-sided as a workbook for students to work through either in directed class time, or as independent learning at home.Sets 1, 2 and 3 are also available separately if you prefer, each priced at £3.00. This pack comprises 6 non-editable files: the GAME CARDS x 3 and the REFERENCE, RECALL AND WRITE BOOKLETS x 3 - the other files you can see are preview images to give you an idea of what the resource looks like as a whole.
