Was machst du im Sommer? (Echo 2 module 1)

Was machst du im Sommer? (Echo 2 module 1)

A Power Point covering a whole lesson whose aim is to talk about what activities you and other people do during the different seasons. Grammar focus is the PRESENT TENSE rule (regular and some irregular verbs in all persons). Lots of funny and/or kinaestetic activities, all differentiated for you (battleships, word search, dice game). It goes very well to talk about what you normally do in your holidays with STIMMT 2 module1. Hope you enjoy!

World Cup 2010 South Africa German and French

World Cup 2010 South Africa German and French

I have pieced together some resources for the World Cup in SA 2010. Attached are 2 presentations, one in German and one in French and two corresponding workbooks, which are to be printed, given out and worked through over about 6/7 lessons. At the end of each document is the task bank, of which there are 5 tasks, taking up 5 lessons where the class apply the knowledge learned in the course (and in previous KS2/3 units) to fulfil the requirements of the tasks. Credit to http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/ for some of their resources.

German Grand Prix Game Starter Plenary Revision

German Grand Prix Game Starter Plenary Revision

To celebrate the German F1 Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring I have created this interactive game for my German students. Enter your own questions and multiple choice answers and watch as two teams battle it out to be the first car past the finishing line. Possible instructions on the first slide. ENABLE ALL MACROS AND REDUCE SECURITY ON YOUR PC FOR THIS TO WORK PROPERLY. I will split my class up into two teams and give everybody a mini whiteboard. Pupils will write the answer of the question on their mini whiteboard and hold it up after my count down. The team with the most correct answers will be the team who's car will move around the screen (just click on the car) Enjoy, and I look forward to your feedback :)

Spanish sports & opinions - Deportes

Spanish sports & opinions - Deportes

These are resources in Spanish for a full lesson on Sports. The posters I stuck around the room and go with the reading worksheet. The plenary I made myself using the 2 stars and a wish idea and was a great way to end using AFL. I introduced the vocabulary without the written word initially (that's why no words on powerpoint slides) but then I used the match up cognate table to introduce them. (I cut these up for students to work in pairs). Easily adapted to other languages
