They will learn to describe themselves physically- their size, hair and eyes. They will also learn to describe their personality. They will learn the formation of feminine and plural adjectives. They will learn to conjugate the verbs - ser and -tener. They will learn to describe where they live- the locality and points of the compass. They will also learn the names of pets. It is hoped that students will learn any new vocabulary and memorise them.

Spanish KS3 GCSE mi casa describe your house estate agent/ property/ reading comprehension

This is a fun reading task to stretch pupils at KS3 or introduce houses/home at GCSE. The reading comprehension is four Spanish homes on sale, with their descriptions and a picture. Pupils have to read these and translate them before tackling the comprehension questions. There are three activities: a vocabulary task, a reading comprehension and a writing task which pupils should be able to do once they have completed the first three exercises. There are some writing structures to support pupils at KS3, but GCSE pupils should be able to use the conditional tense to say where they would like to live.
