#### Sequences and Series Revision Questions

A variety of revision questions on geometric and arithmetic sequences and series. Includes numerical and algebraic questions.

#### BUNDLE Spot the Mistakes

"Spot the mistake" activity can be used to assess pupil's understanding of a topic. The aim is for pupils find the mistakes in an already the matched up jigsaw and they should then correct those mistakes. Each resource comes complete with instructions and solutions. Check out numberloving.com for further ideas!

#### Core 1 Arithmetic Sequences Foldable

Foldables can be used as a revision or summary exercise at the end of a topic. As the answers are hidden pupils can use these to ‘test’ themselves or ask someone else such as a parent to test them. They also make a great addition to any class book, making it an interactive notebook. This foldable requires pupils to recall the formulae needed for the Core 1 Arithmetic Sequences of A Level Mathematics. It comes complete with solutions and instructions.Thank you for looking, we hope the NumberLoving resources are useful to colleagues.Get in touch via @numberloving or numberloving@outlook.com

#### Core 2 (Edexcel) Revision

Here is my power point trying to structure questions for C2 from past papers. I have split the paper into 9 sections and tried to group questions together. All solutions are given at a click. For use by giving to pupils and leaving them to it, or working through topics as a class. Every question from 2006-present. Also works extremely well on iPads.

#### Core 1 (Edexcel) Revision

Here is my power point trying to structure questions for C1 from past papers. I have split the paper into 11 sections and tried to group questions together. All solutions are given at a click. For use by giving to pupils and leaving them to it, or working through topics as a class. Every question from 2006-present. Also works extremely well on iPads.

A comprehensive lesson scaffolded to accommodate for students that have not seen this before. I used this in a lesson observation and was judged outstanding. It should last 1 lesson if paced correctly. I did edit part of a lesson found on here, or google, but thank you to the original artist, I have made a few adjustments to suit my class.

#### A Level Mathematics Matching Pairs Bundle

A collection of matching pairs for Higher GCSE or A Level. Can be used as whole class starters or revision exercise

#### Matching Pairs - Arithmetic Sequences

A matching pairs activity (built in PowerPoint) to be used as great whole class starter activity or revision exercise.

#### Matching Pairs Geometric Sequences

An excellent starter or revision matching pairs activity (built in PowerPoint) to use with the whole class. Students need to match the sequence with the nth term given.

#### Sequences and Series Bundle

Starter/revision activities in the form of matching pairs, plus revision notes, practice questions and examination style questions, plus a sequences ladder

#### Geometric Sequence and Series - PowerPoint

A PowerPoint tutorial on geometric sequences and series. From nth term to sum to infinity. Feedback would be useful, Thank You

#### Further Pure 2 powerpoints

A set of powerpoints covering all topics in FP2. Examples labelled WB correspond to the separately attached 'Workbook' (I give this as a single booklet so pupils have a clear model answer to each topic). References to Exercises are from the Pearson Edexcel FP2 textbook. Mistakes on complex numbers now corrected.

#### BUNDLE Revision Foldables

*UPDATED 29th MARCH NOW INCLUDES NEW FOLDABLES Foldables can be used as a revision or summary exercise at the end of a topic. As the answers are hidden pupils can use these to ‘test’ themselves or ask someone else such as a parent to test them. This bundle includes 12 foldables and I do add to it so its worth checking back. Follow NumberLoving for regular updates on resources, so you know when to re-download! Thank you for looking, I hope colleagues find the resources useful in the classroom. #### Core 1 Arithmetic Sequences (Spot the Mistake)

Spot the mistakes can be used to assess pupils understanding as they find the mistakes in the matched up jigsaw and correct those mistakes. This spot the mistake is a domino trail and covers the nth term and recurrence relation. It comes complete with instructions and solutions.

#### Revision Guide 'The Big 50' - C1, C2, C3, M1, S1

A checklist of 50 I can do this statements designed to cover the Edexcel syllabus for students revising. Answers not provided - they are for the students to research - but The Big 50 does provide a useful framework. Modules here: C1, C2, C3, M1, S1, as well as GCSE Statistics.

#### MEI Core 2 on a page

Revision sheet for OCR MEI Core Maths 2. Could be printed out A4 to use as a revision aide-memiore or A3 to use as a poster.

#### AQA C2 on a page

One double sided page summary of AQA Core 2 module. Designed for exam revision, colourful and hopefully useful to prompt students on the key points.

#### Summation/Sigma Notation – Math puzzle

Summation/Sigma Notation – Math puzzleI’ve included two different sizes of the same puzzle. The smaller size is only two pages and it great if you are going to print of individual copies for students to practice with in class or at home. The larger size requires 8 pieces of paper and quite a bit of space to solve – fun for centers and group work!Cut out the puzzle pieces (or even better if your students do it themselves) and students are to solve the puzzle so that it matches the solution provided. If your students are going to cut out the pieces then no prep is needed – the puzzle is not in order.I’ve been using these puzzles for years with great success! I recommend printing the puzzles on colourful paper and laminating them. This way you only have to cut them out once and they will last year after year! What is included in this product?• The solution to the puzzle – Pages 3 – 4 • The normal size puzzle – Pages 5 – 6 • The large size puzzle – Pages 7 – 14 • Expressions and Answers in a table format for easy grading or you can cut these out to play a matching game – Pages 15 – 16 My students love doing these types of puzzles. This product can also be used as a perfect revision of the school work to do at home. All answers can be easily checked thanks to the included solution to the puzzle or questions and answers shown in a table.Thank you for checking my resources.

#### Series - using general formulas

A presentation that shows learners how to get the formula for (Sigma r) and use this and the formulas for (Sigma r^2) and (Sigma r^3) to solve more complicated summation problems.SMART Notebook Express presentations can be used for free by using SMART online or by downloading SMART software, also free, I use it because it allows a more interactive presentation than a powerpoint. Just search 'SMART Notebook Express' and try it with my free SMART resource.
