#### Last Minute Maths Arithmetic Paper 2017 SATS Revision. Year 6 - KS2.

A flip chart and SATS style question paper based on the arithmetic paper (paper 1) . Created by a year six teacher (89% maths at and above expected pass rate last year), maths coordinator and deputy head. Used on the afternoon before the 2016 maths SATS tests and updated in 2017. The flip chart allows the teacher to model the mathematics concept with a SATS style question and then gives the pupil the opportunity to use and apply what they have just seen. This is designed specifically for revision purposes as I have found my class sometimes fail to retain certain mathematical methods or struggle to use what they know to figure out what they don't. THIS IS AN ACTIVINSPIRE FLIP CHART

It includes lots of examples, with very clear teaching. Useful starter, lots of questions with answers, which i normally run as a bit of a competition and plenary. It does NOT include adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing scientific notation, which comes in lesson number 2 !! You can buy both as a bundle to reduce costs.NOTE: Feel free to browse my shop for more free and premium resources and as always please rate and feedback, thanks.

Key words play a large part, in particular looking at the difference between rational and irrational numbers. This lesson comes as a three lesson bundle.1. Simplifying2. Multiplying3. Rationalizing the DenominatorNOTE: Feel free to browse my shop for more excellent free and premium resources and as always please rate and feedback, thanks.

#### Number: Scientific Notation 2 (adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying) - US Version

This is the second lesson after the first lesson on understanding basic scientific notation. This is focused at a definite higher level than the first lesson as aimed at the grades 9 to 11. This maybe applicable for the more gifted youngsters as well. It includes the normal starter, lesson objectives, questions with answers, lots of examples and some trickier questions and plenary. This shows in particular the different techniques and understanding needed to calculate using the different operations.
