French election Final round Macron VS Le Pen / Les elections françaises 2eme tour.

The French have voted for their 2 favorite candidates for the presidential elections. It is now quite hard to tell the future and if you are teaching French you may find it hard to explain the programs of each of the candidates. This resource will help you teach about the elections by putting the results into the French context and by explaining the birth of each political party. This resource is aimed at intermediate-advanced level students. This resource contains a PPT with 24 slides with different activities. It also contains a booklet for students so that they can keep a track of their learning. All the activities are corrected to save you time. Here's what you will get: 1. a matching up activity with the 5 main political parties that were competing (texts with main ideas and political trends) 2. a true/false activity about the political campaign 3. a reading with questions about Marine Le Pen and her program 4. Two video clips: Students need to answer questions about her political trends and main concerns for the voters of the Front National 5. A mini-biography to reorder about Marine Le Pen 6. A reading about the history of the FN and how it is presented now 7. A text about Emmanuel Macron and his program with questions 8. A brainstorming about what students may know about him 9. A video clip with questions 10. a mini-biography to reorder about Emmanuel Macron 11. A text giving some insight about his Party En Marche 12. The results as a conclusion Enjoy. I am sure it will help you teach about the elections and their importance not only in France but also on the international scene. I suggest you also use this resource that gives you a clear idea of the political system in France. Check here French election Process

A vatiety of Easter cards to colour, so there should be something for most year groups. Perhaps useful for those children who are unable to draw. I have made them so they can be simply printed on card and folded in half. Alternatively print on white paper and glue onto coloured card. For more able children, instructions could be given as to what colours to use to colour in the pictures. To say ‘love from’ the French say ‘grosses bises’ or ‘bons baisers’. Please take the time to comment. Your feedback is always appreciated. If you consider this worth buying, ‘un très grand merci.’ Joyeuses Pâques à tous. Many thanks to: , , and for the use of the clipart images.

French Halloween Skeleton Counting Song - PowerPoint Presentation and Halloween Worksheets

French Halloween Skeleton Counting Song - PowerPoint Presentation and Halloween Worksheets

Use this teaching resource to have fun teaching French during Halloween. I also added some Halloween Themed worksheets for writing numbers to 10. The Alphabet is in English but students could translate them into French for additional practice. I also added another presentation about how to take these worksheets and use them in 31 different ways in the classroom (after you have added the French words to them!) You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different skeletons being shown in each of the photos. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about the Halloween Skeleton Counting Song. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different groups of skeletons. The students can then discuss what they think each skeleton was saying or thinking. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

Petit Jesus - simple French song

Petit Jesus - simple French song

Simple song to the tune of Frere Jacques which uses the vocab from the flashcards I put on last year- nativity flashcards. Practise the vocab first and then get the children to choose the final line by wandering around the classroom letting them choose a flashcard. It gets them singing louder to be chosen to pick the card. We also devised actions for each verse/ flashcard. It also fits in with the nativity play.
