GENDER Revision Powerpoint for whole topic. Teacher and Student Versions. AQA Psychology.

GENDER Revision Powerpoint for whole topic. Teacher and Student Versions. AQA Psychology.

Designed to recap the whole Gender module for AQA Psychology. It includes Sex, Gender, Androgyny, Explanations of Gender, Culture and Media Influences and Gender Identity Disorder. Most topics are condensed to one manageable slide that can be turned into revision cards. I give the students a copy of the student version (usually 2 slides to page) to complete and annotate while I go through the teacher version as a class. Sometimes asking them to complete it before I go through it. I have uploaded a similar thing for some first year topics and Forensic and Schizophrenia in second year topics.

5x revision activities - Whole revision lessons

5x revision activities - Whole revision lessons

A collection of revision resources for whole lessons or individual tasks. These are very easy to amend to whatever topic you want to focus on. Rotating squares - Includes 11 essay questions. The aim is to give each student one essay question, give them a set time to complete the sections (AO1, I&D and AO3) then swap with another student for a set time, and again. Eventually, there will be several contributions for each essay. Articulate - 60 Key terms of studies. Students work in teams. One student picks a card and must explain their word without saying the word. Others must figure out the word. Revision clocks - Assign a topic. Give students 1 minute to complete each section of the clock. Ask or answer - cut out cards. Student independently completes either asking the question that fits the answer or answering the question. Someone who - You will need to add your own questions. Give students a sheet each, they need to ask their peers to tell them the answer and state who told them.

AQA A-level Psychology - Evaluating the Approaches

AQA A-level Psychology - Evaluating the Approaches

I'd love your feedback - what you think of this resource, any suggestions you may have, or requests for future uploads. This lesson is very flexible, and different elements can be used depending on its relevance to you.Because I begin year 12 psychology with a few weeks of introducing the approaches (description only), I 'top-this-up' with evaluation later in the year (when students have developed these skills). Therefore this lesson covers all approaches together - recapping them (through a Tell Me More activity), before covering key terms such as determinism, and finally setting an independent task where students prioritise their own learning (through a YO! SUSHI menu).Tell Me More and YO! SUSHI activities cover:- The behaviourist approach- Social Learning Theory- The cognitive approach- The biological approach - The psychodynamic approach- The humanistic approach

OCR H567 Psychology A level 10 AS Core Study revision cards

OCR H567 Psychology A level 10 AS Core Study revision cards

These are the 10 Core Studies on the new specification. I've condensed the information down for students to help with memory retention. These proved to be very useful for the old specification when I made some for my students. Students can cut these out and write on the evaluation section.
