Great for prompting higher level analysis and evaluation and for getting students talking!Each group is given a set of research methodology cards, with you setting a potential topic/research question - their task is to rank the different methods by placing their cards onto the Diamond 9 grid from most suitable (green) to quite suitable but with issues (amber) to not suitable at all (red). They can then be questioned and asked to explain their rationale/defend their choices!Can also be adapted for revision, with students ranking the methods/topics they are most > least confident about.

Designed to recap the whole Schizophrenia module for AQA Psychology. It includes diagnosis and classification, explanations, treatments and interactionist approach. Most topics are condensed to one manageable slide that can be turned into revision cards. I give the students a copy of the student version (usually 2 slides to page) to complete and annotate while I go through the teacher version as a class. I have uploaded some revision activities for Schizophrenia too. I have also uploaded some revision powerpoints for first year topics too (Psychopathology, memory, attachment) and some second year (forensic)
