Correlation - Age & Beauty - Is there a correlation?

Correlation - Age & Beauty - Is there a correlation?

I've used this PowerPoint with students to get them interested in Correlation which is quite a dry topic in Psychology - Students really respond to the celebrity pictures and opens up interesting discussions between students. More importantly it ensures they get what positive and negative correlation is but with the last slide they have to plot their own graph as they may have to do in the exam.Update -this has been updated with graphs and definitions from the original free resource I put on here.

GCSE and A Level Psychology - Comic strip revision of key studies activity

GCSE and A Level Psychology - Comic strip revision of key studies activity

Fantastic for low ability/visual learners or just for a quick to prepare (but effective!) revision lesson - print a copy of the worksheet for each student and explain the task using the PowerPoint; students must pick a key study (or use one that you allocate) and create a summary comic strip covering aim, procedure, findings and conclusions. Collect in, photocopy and re-distribute the sheets as full revision packs...teamwork that works!
