SPANISH VERBS 25 MUST-HAVE VERBS REFERENCE LIST #1

SPANISH VERBS 25 MUST-HAVE VERBS REFERENCE LIST #1

PERFECT FOR SUPPORTING LEARNING IN YOUR CLASSROOM! Create an instant reference resource for students focusing on essential SPANISH verbs. I’ve found that the lists are a great learning support resource, and they’re really popular with students too. They work well when students keep them carefully in learning files or folders for current and future reference. They also work well printed double-sided and laminated for small-group work in class. This list is a collection of 25 high-frequency verbs that I work with in the beginning to intermediate stages of SPANISH learning programmes. They include regular and irregular verbs, with some modals. They are all in the infinitive form - it's an important step in learning is to ensure that students quickly develop a useful vocabulary bank, are able to recognise SPANISH verbs, and are confident with the meaning of those verbs in English - at that point we can move swiftly on to looking at conjugation and using the verbs in a communicative and practical context. Students shouldn't take on the task of learning 25 verbs all at once though - this is more of a longer-term reference resource that students can use to audit their developing SPANISH verb vocabulary. I’ve also gathered together three further collections of 25 ‘must-have’ verbs which you can download for free too. You might also be interested in my verb conjugation reference tables too, which are also free to download. There are two alphabetical lists - one SPANISH-ENGLISH, and one ENGLISH-SPANISH, as I’ve found that students prefer to have both as a reference resource. This resource consists of two non-editable files in a zipped format and is offered freely, but please read the TERMS OF USE carefully, as it is copyright. ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y BUEN APRENDIZAJE!

SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 CHALLENGE CARDS

SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 CHALLENGE CARDS

PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING SPANISH LANGUAGE SKILLS AS WELL AS PRACTISING AND REVISING SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 - 36 CHALLENGE CARDS WITH RECORDING SHEET AND FULL ANSWER KEY! SPANISH NUMBERS 0-31 CHALLENGE CARDS really do help to create a lively language learning environment. Students can develop, embed, reinforce and refresh their knowledge of SPANISH numbers in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. They have a bonus multi-skill focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading and spelling. They’re great for helping students familiarise themselves with, and develop competence in, speaking, reading, writing and spelling numbers in SPANISH. The cards are useful not only when you’re focusing on Numbers 0-31, but also as an all-year-round starter, plenary and general ‘pick-me-up’ activity, as the goal is not simply to learn how to count in SPANISH, but also to enjoy working with SPANISH, and to feel confident about doing so. The questions range in complexity and challenge, and are great for honing numeracy skills too - especially if calculators are not allowed! The resource comprises the following 3 files: * Set of 36 challenge cards, 4 per A4 (8.5 x 11) paper. Print, laminate and cut out. Depending on how long you want the activity to last for, choose a particular number of cards per small group of students, and place them in a tin, bowl or small box so that students can easily select a card, and then replace at the end of the activity. You can simply place all the cards in the bowl/box and let students work their way through, either in a single lesson, or across a series of lessons - I’ve found 15-20 minutes across several lessons can work really well. Students do need to remember to file their recording sheets carefully! * 2-page answer recording sheet. Best printed double-sided. * 2-page answer key, again best printed double-sided, and laminated for longevity. One answer key for each small group is sufficient. Students find this reference sheet really useful - download it for free here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/spanish-numbers-0-31-reference-sheet-11745639 The resource consists of 3 non-editable files in a zipped format. Please read the TERMS OF USE carefully; the resource is copyright, and for single teacher/purchaser use only. ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y QUE OS DIVIRTÁIS!

French and Spanish GCSE Essentials Booklets with interactive lessons

This bundle contains the comprehensive essentials booklets I created with exercises to practise revision. Having studied many years' worth of listening and reading exams in French and Spanish, it was apparent that common language kept appearing. These booklets contain the non-negotiable vocabulary all students really need. I have added in some interactive lessons as well that can be used to recap the basics. These can be uploaded on a VLE for students to practise their pronunciation at home.
