Most effective if used with the Edexcel Revision Guide. This combines material from pages 78 and 79.

(alternatively, for low-level students, the teacher can provide students with a vocabulary list and the students label the photo). 2) Change pairs to AB. 3) Student A describes photo while student B listens attentively. 4) Student B describes photo while student A listens attentively. 5) Still without looking at each other’s photos, students attempt to identify 3 differences between their photos. Students may now look at each other’s photos and describe 2-3 differences each. Encourage use of CONNECTORS: En primer lugar, En segundo lugar, Finalmente Sin embargo, Por otra parte, Mientras que Además, También, Es más Instructions for PART 2 1) Students ask each other the discussion questions. Encourage students to: Extend their answers Elicit more information Agree / disagree with their partners Justify their arguments 2) Students try and report to their new partner everything they can remember which their old partner has just told them. Grouped by theme (Environmental & Social Issues) but all higher tier, this resource can be printed as an exam pack, perhaps for the school holidays or as a long-term homework assignment; or printed as individual sheets to be used in class as starters, plenaries, or mini-assessments. Claim the parcel translation game Nuestra Planeta New GCSE Viva AQA

Claim the parcel translation game Activity for revising different verb tenses and topics from new GCSE AQA books. You have a table with different verbs tenses/sentences and project it on your interactive whiteboard/wall. In groups of 2 (max 3) they write the answer in Spanish to one of the parcels/boxes on their mini white boards, come to you at the front of the class (you check) and if they have the answer correct they can claim the parcel/box. You write their names/team name on a post it notes and stick it over the parcel/box on the interactive whiteboard. Then, no one can do this parcel/box anymore. The winner is the group to have most parcels/boxes claimed at the end. Works well as end of module revision or translation practice. Don't forget to feedback!
