Authority KS3 RS Religious Education Scheme of work unit Y7 Y8 or Y9

Authority KS3 RS Religious Education Scheme of work unit Y7 Y8 or Y9

This unit includes all you need to teach for around a term to KS3. There are lesson power points with back up activities, sheets, discussion points, resources, assessments etc. There is an assessment record page and a scheme of work to go with the powerpoint too. I have also written a three hour Flip Learning Project which substitutes some of the lessons as additional extra., the 99 names of God. Unit looks at leaders across faiths, holy scripture/Qu’ran as authority, Muhammad’s Night of Power and issue of obedience to authority/tradition/culture etc through wearing of coverings as a decision for Muslim women. This unit is a bridging unit into Islam another unit I have uploaded as pupils enjoyed this so much, I wrote a full unit on Islam for them for the next term. The PPT has 12 lessons and 53 slides with activities. You can pretty much walk into the room and teach from it, without further resources. Ideal if RS cover teacher or non-specialist too. I have developed a whole unit work from Year 5 up to Year 8 which I am now uploading. These have taken me hundreds of hours so I hope this saves you lots of time. Happy Sunday!

AQA GCSE RELIGIOUS STUDIES – REVISION TEMPLATES FOR THEME F – HUMAN RIGHTS, SOCIAL JUSTICE

AQA GCSE RELIGIOUS STUDIES – REVISION TEMPLATES FOR THEME F – HUMAN RIGHTS, SOCIAL JUSTICE

This resource provides a set of templates for students to make notes on for AQA Theme F – Religion, human rights and social justice. The templates cover all the topics within the Theme. It can be used in a revision session as the teacher does Q and A; can be used between students for them to complete from their memory (information retrieval being a more effective form of revision than simple note taking) or from notes; can be set as homework to complete after the Theme has been studied. Once completed, it gives the student a revision resource which they have engaged in and completed, so they are more likely to remember. Central is a provocative statement on the topic (which is stated at the bottom of the page for clarity) to trigger discussion. Each template is split into key words, beliefs/teachings about, influence and diversity – which is where the student makes their notes. There is no religion specified in the templates, so they can be used in any classroom
