Listening comprehension exercise - Ouragan Irma

Listening comprehension exercise - Ouragan Irma

This is a listening comprehension exercise on the recent devastating hurricane Irma. It can be used as part of the topic L'environnement and ideal for A-level, IB and Pre-U students, although a good stretch material for GCSE students too. Students are to watch the short video clip (a news report from France 24) and answers the questions on the worksheet. Two worksheets attached: one student copy and one with answers. There is also a time indication given on the worksheet so that students know when in the video clip they can find the answer. However, to make it more difficult, this can be removed so that they have to listen to the whole piece and retrieve the answers themselves. Good resource also for identifying and learning L'environnement vocabulary.
